A message from your president Eric GoForth

Dear GGBA members, friends and supporters,
The 2013 edition of The Pride Pages are hitting the streets. The Pride Pages represents both a business resource and a community sharing a common thread. We serve both the for-profit and non-profit sectors with lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and allied member representatives.
This year marks the 39th Anniversary as the nation's first LGBT Chamber of Commerce. We have seen a lot of organizational change over the past year and, as we move through 2013, I want you to know that you have a dedicated, volunteer, board of directors working diligently to help grow the GGBA and bring additional opportunities to help our members expand their businesses.
"Open for business" is a theme I have heard repeatedly over the past year, both as a financial planner and as your board president. While the economic climate has been challenging, many are seeing growth and opportunities for their bottom line.
The Pride Pages are part of that. When looking for needed services, I reach for my copy as a trusted resource. Whether it's an annual eye exam, referring a friend to a mover, or booking hotel rooms for out of town guests, I can find much of what I need from GGBA members listed in our directory.
We are growing as a business chamber and with the partnerships we have with small, medium and larger companies, we will continue to bring value to members through our signature monthly Make Contact networking events, educational workshops, business trade show, and growing Business Exchange Network (BEN) groups.
We hope you, too, will turn to The Pride Pages, available at over 100 locations and online at ggba.com, when looking to make a purchase or acquire a service. We encourage you to participate with us, and share us with your friends, colleagues and other organizations. As the real magic happens when our community collaborates and unites. We are open for business, and wish you growth and prosperity in 2013!
Sincerely,
GoForth
