Volunteerism: The New Work Ethic
Volunteering is an enriching, rewarding experience that offers the chance to learn new skills and foster relationships with those around you. GGBA’s mission is to support LGBT businesses to start, grow and sustain and our volunteers offer their time, talent and energy to help keep the organization running year-round. The GGBA is comprised of a volunteer Board of Directors and member-participating committees that serve to set the short- and long-term goals by evaluating the needs of its membership and the overall business community. Participants offer extensive insight, practical know-how and invaluable experience, stemming from a variety of backgrounds.
Whether it’s serving on the Board of Directors, volunteering on a committee or at an event, the GGBA is proud to be member-run and member-sustained.
