AD17 Candidates Forum - Watch Online Event

The AD17 Candidates Forum, focusing on small businesses in the San Francisco Bay Area, took place on February 3, 2022. The forum was hosted by the Golden Gate Business Association (represented by Executive Director, Terry Beswick) and co-sponsored by the Hispanic Chambers of Commerce San Francisco (represented by CEO, Carlos Solórzano-Cuadra, the SF Filipino-American Chamber of Commerce (represented by Chairman, Jose Pecho) and the San Francisco Council of District Merchants Associations (represented by president, Masood Samereie).

Questions were addressed to the four contenders running to replace David Chiu and represent the Eastern half of San Francisco in the California State Assembly – David Campos, Matt Haney, Bilal Mahmood, and Thea Selby. The session was skilfully moderated by Manny Yekutiel. Thank you to everyone who took part.

The special election primary will be held on February 15, 2022.
