Charles develops enterprise solutions for his Fortune 500 and public-sector clients that improve business processes, maximize revenue, manage costs, and address risks, while also mitigating social and environmental impacts. More specifically, Charles helps clients with sustainability and GHG reporting, materiality and stakeholder engagement, reporting data analysis, supply chain transparency, environmental asset disclosures, environmental remediation, and environmental, health, and safety strategy and compliance.Before joining Deloitte, Charles gained almost a decade of non-profit management and leadership experience with various environmental, philanthropy and youth volunteerism organizations. For example, Charles developed and led Greening Forward from 2008 to 2017 as CEO, which would become a leading organization in the United States that’s devoted to training and funding student environmental leaders, ages 5-25.Simultaneous to Greening Forward, Charles offered independent consulting services to various agencies. His past consulting clients have included numerous international environmental NGOs, federal agencies, philanthropists, school districts, environmental justice campaigns, and media corporations. Through these experiences, Charles has crafted an award-winning blueprint for how youth and adults can work together to create a more sustainable, equitable world.Charles serves on the Board of Directors for Greening Forward and The Captain Planet Foundation. He also serves as a Trustee of a scholarship program with his alma mater, The University of Georgia.
