Caltrans 2021 Disparity Study
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has acquired the services of BBC Research & Consulting to conduct a disparity study to determine whether there is a disparity between the utilization and availability of minority- and woman-owned firms in Caltrans’s contracting.
Information from the study, which is expected to be completed by June of 2021, will help Caltrans assess its efforts to encourage the participation of minority- and woman-owned businesses in local contracts and help inform any refinements that Caltrans might make to its implementation of the Federal Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program.
