GGBA’S ‘MAKE CONTACT’ RETURNS
The monthly Make Contact networking events, produced regularly for decades, are among the most popular ongoing services of the Golden Gate Business Association (GGBA).On Tuesday, April 12, the first of GGBA’s Make Contact networking events held in-person since early 2020 was hosted by New Conservatory Theater Center (NCTC). Featured guest Suzanne Ford, interim Executive Director of SF Pride, discussed the growing excitement for the return of the San Francisco Pride Parade scheduled to be held on Sunday, June 26.GGBA’s Executive Director Terry Beswick spoke on behalf of the organization and joined current and former officers and Board members, including Aaron Lander, Gina Grahame, Krystal Drwencke, Tony Archuleta, and others, in welcoming members and guests. Juan Torres of Torres Wine Tours & Events served as wine sponsor.Welcoming guests on behalf of NCTC were Executive Director Barbara Hodgen, along with Kate Butler Jones, Nora Segura-Barpal, and more.Among the new members attending were Another Planet Entertainment’s Margaret Casey and Casey Lowdermilk.The annual Mega Make Contact, held in conjunction with San Francisco Small Business Week, will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 6–9pm.
