Hilton is calling all certified minority, woman-owned, disabled, veteran, and LGBTQ small businesses – pitch your business by March 19^th to win a $10,000 grant!

The Supplier Diversity team at Hilton Supply Management (HSM) is now taking submissions for its Diversity Advancement Fund. This annual grant of $10,000 is given to a certified diverse small business that has the greatest impact on economic development strategies designed to accelerate innovation and entrepreneurship.

Eligibility Criteria

In order to qualify for the grant, the following must apply for each applicant:

The company must be currently certified
as a minority, woman-owned, disabled,
veteran, or LGBTQ small business.
The company must be classified as a
small business according to the Small
Business Administration’s size standards.
Scoring criteria will be based on the following:
- Economic need.
- Investment opportunity.
- Background story.
- Business viability.
The company must submit a one-page pitch with the following info:
- Brief summary of the company.
- Specific certification as a diverse supplier (identifying the certifying organization).
- How the company’s products/services could be (or currently are) sold in the hospitality marketplace.
- Why the company is deserving of this award.
- How the company intends to use the award.
