LGBTQ-Owned Businesses in the Bay Area 2020
Do you own or know of a successful LGBTQ-owned business in the Bay Area? If so, we'd love to recognize the company. This List will be part of a special Business of Pride edition of the San Francisco Business Times publishing June 5.The San Francisco Business Times is compiling its sixth annual List of LGBTQ-owned businesses in the Bay Area, and we want to reach every company that might want to be included.We plan to recognize LGBTQ business owners who have made a successful establishment in the local region. With San Francisco Pride coming up in June, it’s also time we celebrate this aspect of diversity in our business community.This List will be part of a special Business of Pride edition of the San Francisco Business Times publishing in June, featuring stories that explore LGBTQ trends, issues and workplace diversity, and highlighting LGBTQ leaders within the Bay Area business community.The special edition will be unveiled June 10, at a gala cocktail party at the Four Seasons Hotel at 757 Market St. in San Francisco celebrating the Business of Pride.If your company is interested in joining The List, or if you know another business owner who might be interested, please submit this form so that we can email over a questionnaire.The deadline to nominate a company is Friday, March 6.To qualify:
- Companies must be 51% or more LGBTQ-owned. LGBTQ stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning.
- Be headquartered in the Bay Area, which is defined as: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano and Sonoma counties.
We'll rank the LGBTQ List by 2019 companywide revenue to show each company's economic impact within the business community.
