Queer Mornings: Healing During and After a Pandemic

A queer-focused healthcare panel will discuss the different challenges you may be facing and will share tips to help you start your healing journey. Moderated by our amazing drag queen Yves Saint Croissant.

  • Exploring Regulation: How to Increase Self-Awareness Around Activation: Yanni is a somatic psychotherapist associate at Grateful Heart Holistic Therapy Center. They are a queer person of color who grew up in the Bay Area. They help clients with depression, anxiety, developmental trauma, inner-dynamics, gender exploration, trans-identities, and relational dynamics.
  • How to Release Stress Through Movement: Julieta is an experienced athletic trainer in San Francisco and has worked with many elite athletes, including NFL players and Olympians. Her rehabilitative approach focuses on joint and muscle mobility, mitigation and recognition of injuries, and return to sport protocol and testing. She is a gay Latina woman who grew up in the Bay Area. Julieta has a passion for helping ALL individuals move in ways that are functional, safe, and goal oriented.
  • Drag Break with Yves Saint Croissant: Bay Area native who’s known by her closest confidants as a “Wellness Queen”. Yves is passionate about working with children and strives to promote acceptance toward minorities / queer identifying individuals by teaching tolerance to the next generation of leaders. She is one of the founding members of the internationally renowned Drag Queen Story Hour program.
  • Using Breath for Posture Support: Krystal is a sports chiropractor and strength trainer in San Francisco. She treats a wide range of chronic, acute, traumatic, and degenerative injuries. Whether it's related to spine, extremity, muscle, joint, ligament, or movement; She can assess you and get you moving in a positive direction. Krystal serves on the board of directors of the SF LGBGT Chamber of Commerce where they champion opportunity, development, and advocacy for the LGBTQ business community.
  • COVID-19 Testing Decisions: Choosing Wisely: Nas is a gay general medicine physician in San Francisco that provides personalized general medicine experience in a fear-free environment. Dr. Nas helps queer patients navigate the healthcare system safely by diagnosing and managing complex medical conditions.
