TGX Pitch Workshop and Scholarship for Transgender and Gender Expansive Entrepreneurs
“I draw on my experiences as a keynote and motivational speaker, B2B sales, an actor, a spokesperson, and as an entrepreneur who’s pitched and secured VC funding. My gender history is a key asset, having been male for the first ten years of my career and female for the last 25+ years. This has given me a unique understanding, insight, and credibility with virtually every audience regardless of professional title, age, gender, or sexual identity.” - Gina Grahame, Principal of Grahame Institute of Strategic Communications, Lecturer of Strategic Communications and Communications Coach at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Transgender, gender non-conforming, non-binary and gender expansive business owners and entrepreneurs are invited to attend the TGX Pitch Workshop with Gina Grahame on Tuesday October 18, 6-7pm Pacific. Participants will learn how to pitch their business to potential customers and also learn about LGBTBE certifications and managing business credit. The hybrid event will be held at the Wells Fargo Connections Center at 333 Market Street in downtown San Francisco and online (registrants will be sent a Zoom link in advance of the workshop). Presented by the Golden Gate Business Association (GGBA), the LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce of the San Francisco Bay Area, and sponsored by Wells Fargo, the workshop is free to registered participants. TGX Pitch Workshop participants will also be eligible for the Transgender & Gender Expansive LGBTBE Certification and Affiliate Chamber Membership Scholarship, as part of the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) Transgender & Gender Expansive (TGX) Inititiative, awarding free GGBA memberships and LGBT Business Enterprise certifications to eligible businesses.
