Will you help make a difference in LGBTQ+ students' lives?

Will you -- or someone you know -- help support and empower LGBTQ+ students in the Central Valley?

Equality California Institute is recruiting for paid positions in a national mentorship program in California's Central Valley aimed at positively impacting the lives of LGBTQ+ and all students and building a culture of equality and inclusion in our Central Valley schools.

Mentors will help students in the South San Joaquin Valley succeed in school -- and ultimately graduate -- by helping them feel safe and supported and thereby improving their academic performance, attendance and mental health. They will also work with local non-profits to plan and implement events for LGBTQ+ young people. Mentor positions will be sponsored by AmeriCorps.

Will you help make a difference in LGBTQ+ student’s lives?
