As part of Equality California Institute's commitment to building the bench of LGBTQ+ appointed and elected leaders, at all levels of government and business throughout the state, The Equality California Institute Leadership Academy — generously sponsored by Edison International — connects participants with current California elected and appointed public officials in order to develop future LGBTQ+ leaders. Our academy has prepared more 100 leaders from across the state to run for office and seek appointments to state, municipal and private sector boards and commissions.
The 2021 Equality California Institute Leadership Academy will consist of two full-day online sessions held on Saturday, May 22nd, and Sunday, May 23rd. Sessions will occur from 10:00 AM PT to 5:00 PM PT.
