Wells Fargo and National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce Award $5,000 Grant to Golden Gate Business Association

San Francisco (08/13/15) – The Golden Gate Business Association (GGBA) is proud to announce that the chamber was awarded a $5,000 grant on Thursday, August 13th at the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC)’s 2015 International Business & Leadership Conference in Fort Lauderdale, San Francisco (08/13/15) – The Golden Gate Business Association (GGBA) is proud to announce that the chamber was awarded a $5,000 grant on Thursday, August 13th at the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC)’s 2015 International Business & Leadership Conference in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Funded by the Wells Fargo Foundation, this grant was awarded to expand capacity and offer technical assistance to the GGBA’s LGBT Business Enterprise (LGBTBE) Roundtable program. The main goal of the program is to foster the development, growth, and sustainability of certified LGBTBEs. Currently the GGBA, the Nation’s first LGBT Chamber of Commerce, has the second largest pool of certified LGBTowned firms in the United States behind New York City.
