Governance

As entrepreneurs and LGBTQ+ business leaders, we know that it takes courage to be the first in anything. There is risk in being the ‘first-to-market’ but there is also an incredible sense of accomplishment. Being ‘the first’ is something that no one can take away from you. You have a unique place in history.

So it was with the founders of the GGBA who had the vision, courage and tenacity to be the first in history to form an LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce. Who knew at that time that the seed they planted would literally transform how the world would do business and how billions of people around the globe would perceive the LGBTQ+ community for decades to come!

GGBA Board

Our board members are an amazing group of people who are focused on making a dramatic impact not just on our own respective businesses – but for everyone in our spheres of influence.

GGBA Foundation

In 2018 the GGBA launched the GGBA Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that allows us to give back to the LGBTQ+ community of San Francisco, the Bay Area and beyond in ways that our founders could have never imagined! The GGBA Foundation is a separate entity from the GGBA which is a non-profit organization registered as a 501(c)(6) organization.

Advisory Council

The GGBA Advisory Council is comprised of accomplished experts offering innovative advice and dynamic perspectives. Their expertise provides strategic advice for GGBA board members.
