As entrepreneurs and gay business leaders we know that it takes courage to be the first in anything. There is risk in being the ‘first-to-market’ but there is also an incredible sense of accomplishment. Being ‘the first’ is something that no one can take away from you. You have a unique place in history.

So it was with the founders of the GGBA who had the vision, courage and tenacity to be the first in history to form an LGBT Chamber of Commerce. Who knew at that time that the seed they planted would literally transform how the world would do business and how billions of people around the globe would perceive the LGBT community for decades to come!
